You mentioned a very good item to remember. Chair cushion. At the last class I felt like a little kid trying to sew as the table was somewhat high with my machine on it and the folding chair too low.

I bought a thick dining room chair cushion at Walmart and it has the non slip backing. It is great for all chairs I have encountered at various workshops and classes. Cheap enough that if it gets left or dropped in the mud, no big loss and it's comfortable.

I have a large Blue Fig that fits my Pfaff Creative 4.0. I have hauled that baby to retreats and classes and the case holds up better than my back. That machine weighs a ton. I would recommend the Blue Fig.

I have a Tutto (medium size) for my Babylock Quest. It came with an extra case which could be used for a serger, or for additional supplies, like fabric, notions, etc. It works great, and I feel that it cushions and protects my machine very well. One question, Sunnie.....I always thought that the Quest and the 6500/6600 were VERY similar. I'm just wondering why you have both, and how they differ?

LOVE my Tutto. Got rid of my other case which did not fit the machine very well and was difficult to use. Worth the investment.

Save your money and get a Tutto. I have been thru several others and I finially bit the dust, saved the money and got my Tutto. love it. worth the money. Took me a year to save, but worth it. I have a Janome 6600 and it fits snuggly into the large Tutto. it is a heavy machine, but the Tutto makes it so easy to move around. The old one was like pulling a ton weight.

I don't know what I have, but bought it at Overstocked.com....which I think is called something else now. I got it about two years ago for my Pfaff Expression 2. I had bought a wheeled case at Hancock's, but it was not large enough for my machine. I love this case, and it has gone to many workshops and classes with me. I have not taken it on an airplane though, so I can't speak to that. I just bought it, based on its size. I looked for a name on it, but I don't see one. Guess I don't know where to look...

When my DH bought my Bernina it came with a travel case on wheel's which is a wonderful addition as the machine is so darn heavy!

I would check ebay and Craigslist too. You may get a great buy on a used one that's in very good condition.
