Havent tried it yet ,but end up moving all over the place.guess I will have to give it a try Thanks for the reminder.

I think I will give it a try.

I bought 2 lifts from Debbie Umphress and they work well.
I use for piecing, but remove for the limited machine quilting that I do. I have several friends who use 2 or 3 door stops and that works just as well. |
I believe I will try that as well.

Yes, I tilt my machine. I use the little foam waffle like (for lack of a better description) coasters from the dollar. 4 to the package for a buck. Works great.

I don't but my one of my good friends does! She thinks it helps her see the sewing area!!! :D

I keep forgetting to do that, but one idea I received was to take two door stoppers and place them at the back of the machine to tip it forward. When I remember to do it, it has worked well. I keep moving my machine and forget to put them back.

I heard this a while back and I set blocks under the legs of my table and it really makes a diffrence in how I sit at the machine. This is a great tip.

I have one of the old Singer Slants. Personally, I don't see that much difference.
