All! ha ha

I scan the topics and pick ones that interest me the most.

I read every word. Love it. |
Usually all.
It really depends on the topic. Sometimes I'm more interested in the replies; but often it is the original post that I'm responding to. If someone is struggling with a decision on a border and wants feedback, for example, I may not read any of the replies--just post my thoughts and go on the the next thing I love the topics that generate conversation among those replying though and read those all the way through.
Pretty much all
It depends on how many pages of posts there are. On this one, I only read the first page beacause I'm at work and need to get busy working.
I can't take the time to read them all, but if it is a topic I'm interested in I will read more than the first few.
Read almost all --that is why I don't get more quilting done but I'm sure some of you feel the same.
Depends. Sometimes just a few and sometimes all if it really piques my interest!
I try to read all cause you can find some real gems hidding in a post.
I Skip read thru the really long posts. If it is pages long usually someone has already said what I would say |
Oh my.... I would be on computer all day if I read all comments on every 'Topic' I check out!
First thng in the morning I read all the posts that interest me and that's most of them. I read the posts all the way through that have information I'm interested in. If it's a post showing a quilt I may look at the quilt and read some messages commenting on it but not all if there are many pages. I'd like to read every comment but it's just too time consuming.
read all
It depends on the topic. If someone has posted their work, their latest "find", is asking for opinions, etc., and there are pages and pages of posts, I may not read them all, just leave my compliments.
However if it is to do with a technique, a question, or the like, I'll read all the posts to make sure I understand thoroughly, and see what others have already contributed before posting a response. For example, this thread is asking for a response regarding what I do, so I didn't feel a need to read all the responses before posting. Wendy |
Depends if it's something I'm realy interesed in,otherwise I might skip it altogether
I usually read just the first page unless I want to comment. Then I read the whole thing so I don't duplicate something someone else has already said. I rarely comment on something that has many pages.

Only allow myself so much time a day to be on the computer so usually it's the first thing I do in the morning over coffee and toast. Check all the new topics for items of interest first and usually follow all the threads if I plan on making a comment unless it's a post asking for my personal opinion on something and then I will usually respond and might check back before I go to bed to see others opinions as well or if there are any PM's. Love to learn new things so if it's a question on how to do something either new or a new technique I'll read all the way through. If a topic becomes heated I'll leave.
I look at all pictures and bookmark some for future. Read most.
I try to read them all, if I am not interested enough in the post to read all, I don't post. It gets redundant x 2 when everyone keeps posting the same thing.:)

If I'm watching a thread (even if I haven't posted to it), I read every post - otherwise, what's the point in watching? |
I read it all, but now I am back to work so I have less time to comment or post! but I still read the digest first thing in the morning
I might read them all if it's something that really interests me. But I don't read all the topics, either. You guys write a lot!
Rarely. But I am wading slowly through the thread about online IDs ;-) by the time I got to it, it was 30 pages!!
I would like to read them all but just not enough hours in a day. I try to read the ones I am interested in. Will post if I have something new to list. This was a good topic because I was wondering how much time other people spent on this board.
Like most of the others, I read through the thread if I'm posting more than words of appreciation for a nice quilt. If I want to ask a question (such as the name of the pattern) then I may not read the whole thing, but I do scan through to see if the OP has posted again in that thread, answering any questions. It is annoying to see the same question asked again and again, after it has been answered, but I also understand that not everyone has enough familiarity with the computer to effectively search through the past answers, so I try to cut them a little slack. ;-)
depends on the post as dont have time to read back on 8 pages for every post that comes through
I am home most of the day (unless I'm out buying fabric) and what I do is go in and out of my home office off and on all day. I try to read ALL of the comments since I feel someone went to the trouble of posting it. By evening I pretty much have it all covered, then I will scan the tutes and watch them. The more I watch them the more confident I become in wanting to try a project. I just love this board. Thanks to everyone who writes in. Keep the comments coming!!!
I read all that apply to me, first thing in the AM and then in the evening I will finish off with the rest after I have finished sewing.
usually all, don't comment on all of them, but I do read them almost all.
If the topic is of real interest, giving tips.. I will read it through, but, it is not possible in a day to read through every topic I may look at. It would be on this board most of the day

will usually read 4-5 pages unless it was my topic then I enjoy reading the comments. not that I start alot of topics.
As much as I would love to read every topic and all comments there is just not enough hours in a day to do it. I pick and choose topics of interest. I love seeing everyone's quilts and projects and try to browse through all comments, sometimes there are just too many to read through. You all inspire me with your work and I can't resist commenting on all the beauties! Just greatful that this wonderful Board is available and being a part of this fabulous group is so rewarding:-)

It depends on topic, otherwise just a few. I look at pictures and check out the for sale stuff. I read stuff I have posted to.
If I did more I woouldn't have time to quilt and care for my munchkin. PS. I keep emails to min. and am not in the 'joke/forward' routine. |
