I read the first page unless it is something I am really interested in.
depends on the topic, sometimes I read them all, sometimes just a few
I love reading all of them. Have found a lot of help in sme and I love looking at other people's quilts for ideas!
Depends on how much time I have to spend that day. I usually read the initial post and comment, then if I have time go back and read through the comments of others.
Most times I comment b4 reading all of them and go back and read them but if it is pages and pages I probably don't read all of them unless of special interest OR if on the first page it is mentioned that pix of quilt or tutes will be added later. Then I'll go thru quickly page by page.

I'm sorry but I don't.

I read all the way through unless it's a topic or question that have no good reply for. |
I normally read every comment if it is a topic I am interested in and there is a chance I will comment. Some topics, the word games for instance, I read the first page and simply go to the end.
I read a few, see if anyone said what I was thinking, and then post or not. Also, I don't read them at all if it appears they are "looks good", "nice job", etc. I would LOVE to see a "like" button, so the person who posts can see how many people like what they did, but we don't have to scroll through pages and pages of identical comments.
I read the first few and then skim the other pages :-D
lol - only read first page of this one.
Topic discussion, I read it all before posting. Usually, that is, unless there's an urgent reason to post my comment and I'm reading at lunch. pic of quilt, read first page, then leave my kuddos! |
I try to read them all. Always looking for new ideas and to see what others think.

No. Usually I read the first page.
Depends on the subject and how many times the comment/question has been asked. If I'm interested in the title I read at least the first few comments to find out what it's about. I don't feel that I have to comment if the problem is being solved. Nor do I repeat what many, many others have said. I did read all 35 pages of the screen name thread.
I read what interests me, otherwise I would either be on the computer or quilting all day and I wouldn't want my DH to feel neglected.
I read all..learn lots that way.
Being a new quilter I try to read them all. I sit for hours, if I have the time, to read them all. I have picked up quite a lot of tips and tricks along the way. I have almost filled a spiral notebook with the many suggestion, tips, tricks, gadgets to buy, etc., all from reading the posts. I love the QB and all the people who post here. Thanks everybody!

Hello Butterflies. I just had to say that your avatar is so beautiful.
I read all to the topics that catch my eye. I read some of the others, but usually not all.
Before I make a comment, I try to read most of it. But, for really long threads, I figure someone else has already said what I would have said. However, Barnbum's (sp?) thread about her rescued puppy Buddy went well over 100 pages and I read every one of them. So, guess it depends on the subject.

It depends on how much time I have that day and on whether the posts would contain interesting thoughts or guidance, etc. I skim over chains of "Beautiful!, Gorgeous!"
Once a Topic gets past 4 or 5 pages it gets to be too much to read them all, but I still will post if the topic is interesting. Especially if it involves something creative. I also like to ressurect older topics, especially of beautiful projects people made that didn't get enough air time by posting on them. :-) |
