I saw this quilt at the Dallas Quilt Show and want to do this pattern......can anyone identify the name of the pattern or who designed it or where I can fine it. HELP! I've already tried to contact the quilter, but no luck yet. Thanks for any help.

I don't know the pattern, but if no one else knows what it is, you can draft it out on graph paper. Looks like lots of hst's. squares and rectangles.

Sorry I can't help, but if you had some graph paper you could draft it .

I have made a half-hearted attempt at that, but I also have to identify placement of Lights/Mediums/Darks to make the chain trail correctly.......it will take quite the focused effort to map out a full size quilt, so I'm still trying to a quicker method. Thanks for your note.

Was there no quilt name on the label, pinned to the front of the quilt? Usually if it's not an original design the quilter will give the name of the pattern. I've also seen quilts with labels that state the quilt was "inspired by" a certain design, but the maker made changes.

I knew I had seen that quilt/pattern somewhere! Found it in one of my recently bought books - Scrap Basket Sensations by Kim Brackett. Quilt is called 'Over and Under', good luck making your own - it's a great pattern!

Actually, I think you only have to scatter med and dark around the white. It's actually a fairly simple pattern... in concept. It's obviously a great place to show off one's quilting (and one's batik scraps). Thanks for sharing it. I love it. that's now # 285 on my WAD list.
