The dizzy affect is a simple lack of focal point issue. Someone already suggested adding appliqué spots (dots, flowers, anything small but popping, circular shapes also grab the eye) to a couple areas inside the pattern and that would fix it best. You could also use line when you're quilting to give the eye a path to follow. A spiral from the center would change dizzying to flowing movement. I would also add some decorative quilting or appliqué to the border area so it isn't so starkly empty beyond the rectangle of your design.

I like it and it doesn't make me feel dizzy at all, just happy, with all those cheerful fabrics.

I too, suffer from motion sickness & have all my life, but this quilt does NOT make me dizzy. I quite like it & really like your diverse colour scheme with purple being the anchor. Keep up the good work.
