I have been trying to go through and organize my sewing and fabric. I am feeling as though it is waaaaaaaaaaaaayyy excessive and I need to decide what to do with some of it. This thead tells me there are a lot of people in the same place. I keep telling myself less is more, less is more, less is more....I WILL FIND A SOLUTION SOON!

Do you have a basement or attic? That is a lot of fabric.I have 5 bedrooms, but not all of them have fabric. Some days do you feel like hanging out an "open" sign?

Sounds like it's probably more fabric than is healthy. You might need to cut back a little or donate some :)

In the bike barn yikes! I have fabric in a number of places but if it ended up with the bikes or vintage cars I think he might actually have a break down.........around here the sewing rooms and the the car and bike shed are private domains....he doesn't use my fabric for rags and I ask before I touch a tool. Wait I never thought about the trunks of some of the cars maybe I could get away with that for a while if I had to. Some of those vintage cars have huge trunks.........probably not a good idea.

I just read your message to my husband, and told him never to tell me I have to much fabric again. So thank you - it made him realize that I wasn't as bad as he thought.

Wasn't there a movie made about that? I think it was like "The Ooze that took over the World".

I have one bedroom full of fabric and I thought I had a lot. How can you keep up with what you have? But, hey, if you can afford it, more power to you. As the price of fabric goes up you'll be secure with your stash.

I have a sewing room, fabric room ( which in real life is the family room) two double closets, storage room (partial) and several cabinets. Gun cabinet by the back door ( for those sneaking quilt cops, they're not coming for me without a fight). hehe
