Easy Binding Winder
I was wondering if any of you have ordered, or used the new Easy Binding Winder. If so; what are your opinions?

I just drop my binding on the floor between my feet and sew away. I wash and dry the finished quilts anyway so it works.

Not sure why you would need one. When I make my binding I wrap it around a ruler as I make it, then just go from there to the quilt. I don't make mine until I am ready to put it on the quilt.

I remember reading that you can wrap the fabric around the toilet paper roll, and you can insert a ribbon or string in the roll hole and hang it around your neck or whatever, keeping the fabric totally controlled and off the floor, etc

I use a cardboard that comes in the cat food box. It is about 8x5". I love how easy it is and it doesn't tangle. I just drop the cardboard on the floor and it unwinds as I sew. I always cut the binding when I cut the quilt so I have several cards wit binding. I sometimes even label them. Works for me.

I wouldn't spend the money on one. I press my binding in half and then wrap around my hand, take it to my quilt and lightly pin it around the edges, to make sure the seams don't land on the corners. Why make more work out of it?

I put mine on an empty toilet tissue roll, put a strip of fabric or ribbon through the roll & hang it around my neck. It works

Too many gadgets that we really don't need. I have used a TP cardboard when I have cut the binding before I am ready to attach it to the quilt.
