I have had many, many days like yours and I find that chocolate helps.....

It sounds like you have a chocolate emergency. We have all had days like that, but you made it sound funny. We are not laughing AT you but WITH you. Better days are coming--they can't be much worse.

I think you need of cup of tea and put away the sewing for today.

Time to quit for the day. Sometimes things just go so bad that you have to quit and start over tomorrow. I had a day like that a few years ago when I was sewing some bridesmaid dresses for a friend. I messed up one so bad I had to replace the whole front of the dress because my iron was too hot and burned it. I call them the bridesmaid dresses from h--l. Don't do that kind of sewing any more.

wow..I have SOOOOO been there...I normally shut everything off, walk out of the door, grab an old movie, then go back , rethread my machine, pop in the movie ,and start the day over!

Yep. I was making a XMAS Sunbonnet Sue and wasn't really in the mood so after ripping out the blanket stitch on 1 section 2x I finally decided it wasn't worth destroying the whole project. I got smart and gave up for the day. Still haven't finished it-too many other XMas things to get done. There's always next year for Sue.

Yup!-----just yesterday. Making the simplest Christmas project, but had to repeatedly rip!!!
