I have used them all. Misty Fuse is my favorite.

I use heat-n-bond lite. I have never thought about only fusing the edges and cutting out the center, will have to give that tip a try.

just what I was going to say. wonder under 805 is by Pelon. it is great. you must let it cool completely before removing the paper, works better.

I like the "Steam a Seam 2" and "wonder under" the best depending on what I am working on.

I've heard that misty fuse dosen't leave the applique stiff. I've not tried it yet but plan to on my next project. I've been using wonder under.

I've just found "French Fuse Fusible Interfacing." It is soft and completely flexible. I heard about it via Leah Day. I've made a picture with lots of appliques and it seems to work well. Also, I could peel off any pieces that I didn't like!

I have had trouble with heat and Bond too.. just does not fuse for me.. I like the regular lite weight one..that Joanne sells..
