Forgot the Bernina 830! Actually have 2 of those. Another long story. I also have a daughter and 2 daughters in law that sew, so they all get used.

I also only have one. When I bought my last 2 machines, each time I gave the old one to a family member that needed a sewing machine. That said, today was a good example why I need to have at least one good backup machine. I have an automatic needle threader that was jammed today. No reason, just took out the cartridge to change the thread, then BAM, jammed up when loading new one! I did fix it, but it did make me think that I need to buy another machine....just in case! :P

I only have two - but I love them both! A Janome 6500 and a Brother Quattro (that I'm still learning about). I traded an Elna and White when I bought the Quattro, so still only two. I like to sew while embroidering and can't do both at the same time on the Brother!

 If you do need a support group, some of us do too! I have a juki, bernina, kenmore and a serger.

I have three machines:my janome that I use for almost everything, a singer(one lunger), which I do most of my curved piecing on(it just does it without eating my pieces), and an antique machine that smells hot every time I try to use it, some day I'll have it looked at, a very dear friend gave it to me, and she's no longer here. But, I love them all.

I have a new home that i use quite a bit, a janome in a different room and 2 sergers for "other" sewing and i'm waiting for my new singer. Do you think i need a support group???

How about 7 but only 5 are workign at the moment, and I am still looking at another one and today almost came home with 2 more OLD OLD machines, I have to stop with this addiction!

Goodness, I love machines almost as much as my fabric. I have a Viking Rose (embroidery & sewing machine), a Janome 6500 I use for piecing and quilting, a BabyLock Natalie (bought to take to guild and classes but haven't used and need to sell), Viking felting machine (for artsy stuff - so fun)!, and a Viking Designer SE with the Fab-u-Motion w/cruise control (embroidery and free motion quilting). I am selling the Viking Rose (my first machine) and the BabyLock Natalie, who knows what will catch my eye next?!?!

I too have 5, decided I needed a support group and low and behold here I am with the best support group possible. Love it

Well let's see:
1. A Pfaff 1475, my everyday machine, had for at least 15 plus years & haven't used 1/4 of the stiches
2. Pfaff 130 from mid 50's, built like a tank, repaired & made many a sail & awning on it, had since the mid 70's, great back-up machine if you can find someone strong to heft it to the table for you.
3. Berninia serger, still getting aquainted with a year later
4. Babylock serger, found at the bottom of a pile of boxes from my parents move from California in the late 80's, still need to check it out
5. A 1936 Featherweight, my pride & glory, traveling with me in the RV this summer

hmmm...my husband made me get rid of 2 at the yard sale, luckily one didn't sell - so I get to keep it :0)

Pfaff 7560 with embroidery unit
Brother (model unknown - it is a long arm for my gracie frame)
Pfaff 796 serger
Singer Futura
Pfaff 303 (brand new - (found at the thrift for $5, still had packaging inside!)
