OMG - This has been a real piece of work! It is for a charity event next month. Not exactly square due to "issues" I had with it. I'd chuck it in the round bin, only I really like the way it turned out otherwise. Hopefully nobody will notice

Love the way it looks...just gave me alot of grief! My own pattern using scraps that I had. I wanted the Cardinal blocks to look like windows, so I put a thin border around each block. I like the way it turned out, although the border caused all the issues. Too thick at the corners, so I trimmed them....and you guessed it....I cut into the block in a couple places! Yikes   :?

It's not complete yet though, needs quilting and border (matches the red print).

Anyway, I have a question for you all. As it is a wallhanging, do you need to put something on the back to hang it up? And how would I do that?

Well, I haven't done any wall hangings, but I wanted to say, That is awesome!!!
Now, onto your question,
I googled it and I came up with this site below.

It's called a sleeve, and you attach it, so you can attach it to the wall ;)

Its gorgeous!!

You can just cut to 4 inch squares fold them over on the diagonal and stitch onto the top two corners, along the binding edge then wrap binding over the top as usual. you can then slip a length of dowelling into the pockets like this, if its small you only need to add one across the top :D

Thanks for the info! Great tutorial too! I'm doing the quilting now, and I have to say that it is alot quicker because it's smaller

Beautiful!! You did a wonderful job. Sometimes the ones that really drive us crazy are the ones we appreciate the most (at least I do - if it went together quick, fast and in a hurry, I don't think about it again)
