I highly recpmmend the flat head pins., especially when rotary cutting. One drawback is when using them to hold seams together they can cause seams to shift and distort.

I LOVE them and you can iron right over them

I do like mine, but next time will look for the 'no melt' pins. I've melted more than one.

I love to use flat head pins! I have the ones that look like buttons -- bought them because they are "no melt". They are a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion. I found some on sale and am giving them to my "quilting buddies" as part of their
Christmas "goodie bag"!

I love the flat head pins! The only thing I don't like is that they come in yellow and I hate yellow. I buy the mixed color package and donate all of the yellow to the quilt shop.

They are easy to grab and lay flat on my magnetic pin holder. Love them!! I have some that are heart shaped too, those seemed even easier to grab

Flat headed pins are wonderful and they have different uses because they don't shift the fabric layers as much as a normal pin and they are finer and longer. Definitely order some. One word if warning though: I can't seem to ever use them without getting stabbed at least once and it is a much bigger OUCH than a normal pin.

I love these also...they are really sharp so be careful using them...and be careful not to sew over (through) them!

I love my flat head pins. I have the regular thickness and the super fine. I actually like the thicker ones best, as the fine ones tend to bend easily. Have not had any problem with melting heads however.

I love mine - you will too.
