Clever fella! I sometimes have to use a walking stick...first week, I hated it...felt very, very vulnerable when out and about. Then I realised, without it...no out and about! I think of it now as an aid to independence...I haven't had to use it for some months now, which is great, but I know I shall be dusting it off again sometime. I just don't feel so bad about it, when I see it propped near my side of the bed.

I was saddled with a wheelchair and a walker for about a year. Now that I am able to get around with a cane I use my walker to haul laundry to the washer and heavy stuff around the house. Sure comes in handy! The wheelchair went back to its original owner and I'm glad to be done with it, for now anyway. Glad you found a way to utilize both the wheelchair and walker. Maybe you won't hate them so much now.

Good to hear you found a way to continue your quilting interests! Keep on tying!!
