Fractals are intriguing. Makes my brain hurt to think about constructing one.

Be sure to check Fibonacci progression designs (great with log cabin blocks). Here are some of Caryl Bryer Fallert's efforts along that line.

You can easily learn to make nice fractals with the freeware "Gimp" program. I agree that they look great. My approach has been a little different in that I am printing the fractals onto material and doing free motion embroidery and quilting on each block before joining them into a quilt.

OMG, some of the quilts on the links of this thread are amazing. Way above my level for sure. Eye Candy is the word for these. Love them!

I'm not sure I feel comfortable with them K...they seem to hurt my eyes!! Well, not all of them, but some do! Anyway..I might try one sometime. I'm soooo math challenged though that they scare me a bit. I'm going to bookmark this thread though for all the great links!

I can't wait to see what you come up with though girl, whatever...I know it will be amazing!

I can appreciate the beauty of all art, but I guess I'm more of a traditionalist. They are very beautiful but a bit too "deep" for me.
