Those chickens are hopping and flying. They are adorable! SO much more interesting than if they were all anchored in the same place. Look again - see how happy they are???

So cute! I love it just like it is!
Very cute! Your chickens look happy in their "coop" :)
Cute cute cute!
Your chickens in the windows looks great, you did an exceptional job.
Such a great looking quilt!!
Great job!!
Really cute I love the attic windows and love the fabric. Sue
Love how you used all the fabrics with circles - very cute!
Love your quilt. The chickens you consider "floating" I thought just stepped back away from the window a little. I like it the way it is. Nice job.
Love it!!!!!
Great quilt! Sending you a PM
Your quilt is absolutely adorable the way you did it! Very cute idea!!!
I love this quilt, I appliqued chickens on my kitchen curtains.
Looks great just the way it is. A good learning experience keeps us creating.
you know, that quilt is just way too cute for itself. i love it!
Your chickens don't have to all be on the "ledge", they are standing at different distances or flapping their wings :) I like that they are not all facing the same way.
Good job! |
The difference is: Are the chickens standing on the ledge of the window, or they outside and you are looking at them through the window. I think yours are outside, and we are looking at them through the window. So they need to be at different levels.
I love your chickens just the way they are!! So cute. You did a fabulous job.
It's eye-catching!
I love this because I love chickens
Great job -- you are doing fantastic. Like you, I am self taught and agree we learn by trial and error but it isn't a good day if we don't learn something new. Again, great job.
How Cute !!......Love it.
Adorable just like it is. Thanks for sharing.

I think the chickens look fine the way they are. You could have done some type of thread work to put them on the ground if you are not happy with the results. It is a really cute quilt.
I love this quilt. I think the chickens look as they would in real life, not all lined up with feet on the ground. It does look as if they are out foraging for food in the grass. Great job!
I love it just the way it is. Don't change a thing.
Your chicks are so cute. You did a great job.... I made an attic one and I understand, it was a learning experience..
I agree with Jim---they don't appear to be 'floating' to me. If you had not mentioned 'floating,' I'd have never even noticed the position of their feet. The quilt is wonderful! DON'T TOUCH IT!!!
Really sweet, cluck, cluck!
Love the quilt, very cheerful and makes me smile.
Really cute!

I think you have done an exceptionally good job! |
That is a neat quilt. I like it that lthey go in different random directions just like chickens do. smile...great job....
cute. I love the chickens and esp. the windows. I made extra large pot holders out of the same fabric.
Enjoyed looking at your quilt it is a breath of whimsey in an over organized world. Good use of color and the chickens are not floating they add more depth in your windows.
I think chickens can fly, can't they? Maybe yours are just flying around. I love your quilt. I see absolutely nothing wrong with it. Great job!
It is a darling quilt and I would do nothing to it--it is just too cute!
If you had not mentioned it, I would have thought that was done on purpose. We are our worst critics. It is really cute!
Ooooooh , I love it. You did a great job!!!
