I am making a patriotic quilt with elongated stars. I have been wanting to sew around the stars with the glow in the dark thread. I am so glad to see your glow in the dark kitties. That gives me encouragement. I like all the other creative ideas mentioned here on the board also.

i got some of that accidently.. just looking for a pink to satin stitch around the hearts on a baby quilt...
so now all the hearts light up in the dark... it was such a cool surprise when i went into the sewing room one night! |

I went to Joanne's this afternoon and got Glow In The Dark thread ----they only had white and yellow, but the salesperson said they will have more variety closer to Halloween. I bought white and will use it to quilt a Halloween quilt for a grandchild - I might wait to quilt the other one with a different color. It does really glow!!!
