I have a pair of Ginghers that belonged to my mom. They never wear out...A great investment..

Here is a web site that lists all different scissors for people with arthritis, carpel tunnel, or other gripping issues. I have a pair of item # 9. they are listed as household scissors, but they work very well without causing me any pain. http://www.abledata.com/abledata.cfm...9327&top=14846

Contact Gingher. I believe you have to send them back to Gingher to have them sharpened.

Kia is my favored.
Ginghers will sharpen then free so sent them back. Don't just let anyone sharpen them or they mess them up.
But, the postage will cost almost as much as buying a new pair on sale at JoAnn's 50% off.
I like Kia Professor the best. I have several ginghers and they are O K for the price. I have several pairs of Mundial. But, always go back to Kia.
I believe Kia use to make a really good brand of knives, can't remember the name.

Pretty sure you mean "Kai" scissors? They also make knives with the Kai name - and nail clippers, rotary cutters, and other cutting utensils. They have vendor booths at a lot of quilt shows, you can see all their products there. They also have a website: http://www.kaiscissors.com/
