I just used some this morning to map out a block I wanted to make. I like having it on hand for figuring out block dimensions / proportions.

I bought the .97 comp graph books, boxes of the .98 colored pencils, and the stretchy .50 book covers. I gave everyone at my sew group a present of book, with pretty cover wrap, and a box of pencils. They were delighted. Such a fun gift to give at no big expense.

I use graph paper all the time, when I design new block ideas. I also participate in boom swaps, where I have only an f8 of a specific fabric and I lay out the pieces I need to cut from that limited fabric on graph paper to make sure I have enough before cutting.

I keep a graph ruled pad and a 6" ruler by my chair in case inspiration strikes. Wish WalMart was close, I miss the back to school sales -- Target is not the same.

I use it. Love low-tech!

Just bought a couple more packs in the back to school section at Wally world last weekend.
I keep some on a clip board and some in a ring binder.
My computer quit and I haven't gotten a replacement yet so can't use my eq7.

I love graph paper and am a retired teacher who decided that quilting would be my retirement. I create a lot of my quilts using graph paper.....just the teacher in me, I guess. I get to use the pencil/or pen to design, print off 3 or 4 copies on my printer and then I can add the colors on different pages and then grab the fabric that meets my idea and start cutting. Love it!!!!

I also love using graph paper to draw up my blocks and quilts. I keep them in a ring binder with a list of how many strips, metres and sizes for an instant tally.
