Great tip. I love reading everybody's ideas on here. I too have used pillowcases for quilt storage. Also have cut a small hole in the short end and slipped the case over a hanger as a clothes protector in the closet - it's better for your clothes than a plastic bag that doesn't breathe.

Yikes! My fingers are not cooperating this morning. Sometimes they do have a mind of their own! Sorry.

I thought what a marvelous use of all those odd ones tucked in your linen cupboards for binding scrappy and other odd projects

How wide did you cut the binding?
Thanks

Wow, I have one whole shelf in my linen closet, just overrun with odd pillowcases. Now I know what to do with them, that one will clean up nicely. Thanx for the great post

Shhh! We don't want everyone to know, Otherwise we will have to fight people off in the linen section of Goodwill!
LOL... we are a thrifty bunch.

You could do that, but if you just leave it sewn, it wash it and cut it like you do for continuous binding, it will work just fine!
By the way, pull a thread or inspect it, some of them are sewn wonky! LOL!
