I don't. I sew and then go outside for a few minutes and then back inside. I had heat stroke about 18 years ago and just can not take the heat. If it is around 70-75 then I feel a little quilty.

Yes! I am pretty close to moving my machine out to the front porch (covered). But first I have to finish planting my flowers - just not too many.

Yes, I do. I love the outdoors and when it is good weather, I feel I should be outside. Does not mean I go outside !!!
|
I WOULD feel guilty if I stayed in to sew, but I don't. I refuse to miss an opportunity to increase my fitness. Most American's, esp quilters, are overweight and unhealthy. I have uncontrolled BP, in spite of taking 5 different meds for it, so for me it would be near suicide to just sit and sew when the opportunity for good hard exercise exists. I have started seeing a cardiologist, but until he finds a solution for this problem, I'm going to do all I can to stay healthy, mostly by riding my bike. I'm already thin, so losing wt. will not help me. Where I live there are plenty of nasty days to stay in. Honestly ladies....fitness feels better!!!!

NO, if I want to go outside I take hand sewing with me.

Haha! I do! I am sometimes secretly happy when it's raining out!

Never feel guilty about doing what makes you happy!!

I really should have run the weed wacker over the weekend but I couldn't want to.

I live in Florida so unless I go outside first thing in the morning or wait until very late, it's too darn hot outside... I might feel a bit guilty when "winter" rolls around to Florida, around November! :)
I say if you enjoy it, go for it!! |
No. I am suppose to stay out of the sun because of skin cancer.
