Prism, I was going to ask her the same thing! I have the Janoop and recently a lady brought me a quilt her grandmother had made out of double knit poly. It must have weighed 90 pounds. She wanted a new binding put on and that support made it so so easy! I love it. And I don't have the space she has.

Hope the quilt inspector thanked you for the new viewing station at the window.

I like the setup and could see me doing that if I didn't take over the dining room table most of the time when I quilt. I also just got a lovely vintage sewing machine in a cool cabinet for my annivalenbirday present. That is anniversary, Valentine's day and birthday present all rolled into one - all within 3 weeks of each other. Ugh!! I need to get it cleaned up and some moved out before I bring it upstairs to use.

whenever I am working on a large quilt, my sewing room is wall to wall tables too. Works for me and that is all that matters. I too am a widow trying to survive on Social Security, so I feel your financial pain

You set-up looks marvelous! A lot like my own - if it works, why fix it?

I love your space. What a nice haven.
I built my own quilt suspenders using left over blanket binding strips and 50¢ clips I bought at the hardware store. The trickiest part is fastening them to the ceiling.
Now I have a permanent ribbon swag in one corner. I really like it in use, and as decoration.

It's amazing what we can come up with when need be. Your idea looks great. Who needs fancy. Just something to get the job done.

Couldn't resist - I ordered for my Sweet16 sit down quilting system. Thanks for sharing.

I think you have a great set up.
