I have never had any problems with them at all and they are at the top of my list of online places to shop. They do ship FedEx ground so that takes up to 10 days to get anywhere but they tell you up front that it will take that long.

In my experience with shopping online, you get far faster and nicer customer service if you take the time to call and talk to a living person than if you simply send an email off into space. And generally, you get back the same attitude you give. :D

I frankly don't find it to be my responsibility to have to take time during my workday to call a retailer to correct an order. If they accept orders online, they should expect follow-up using the same channel. The responsibility to handle the order professionally and respond in a courteous manner is on the business once they have taken my money.

I've been ordering for years from them.
I've found that the wait time is much longer right after they've mailed a new catalog - they get inundated with orders.
Maybe they just don't staff up for it. Otherwise, I usually get deliveries from HP within a week.

I did send them an email but I never heard back. I am in Ontario one hour from Ottawa.

I have never had a positve "shipping" experience with them. I have never gotten any order in less than 2 1/2 weeks. Most have been 3 weeks. This is not exceptable to me when I am paying premium prices.

I'd give it another few days and then I'd contact them again. Several times when I've ordered from them, it has taken 2 -3 weeks for the package to get here - customs, etc..

I haven't ordered from them yet. I'm still waiting on the catalog I requested over 2 months ago. At this rate, I won't be ordering anything anytime soon.

I've ordered from Hancocks of Paducah and other places in the US. Some
orders arrive within a week but mostly 2-3 weeks and I've had one through
Etsy that took over a month. She shipped as soon as she received my
payment but it sure took a very long time to get here. I'd say give it another
week.
By the way I just received an order from HoP today. I placed my order on
2nd Nov.

In my experience, when taking the time to make a phone call to talk to a "living person".......I get a recorded message "Your call is very important to us. please stay on the line and the next available rep. will be with you shortly." "shortly" is often 10 to 30 min. Some of us don't have that kind of time to listen to music on the phone and frankly, the music doesen't do much for my "attitude"

I have never had a problem with Handcocks of Pauucha, I get my orders in a timely maner, but I go to the store in Person most of the time, it is huge! and so much fun to spend the whole day just looking at all the eye candy!
Every single person that I have met there from Mr. Handcock, his sons and all the people who work for them are always so nice, and during the show week I do not think I would ever be able to be as nice, it is packed!! and all the rest rooms inside are for laidies only, they bring out porta potties for the gents in the parking lot.
from every fabric shop I have been in this one is my #1 favorit!! and If I ever move back to maine I will shop by mail and come down in person for the quilt show and a day at Handcocks!
