My computer tossed up a big RED warning about going to the website. Can you just upload the photo in here as opposed to the link? First I got foreign writing.. .then *kabam*.. .big red NO-NO from my antivirus program.

Highmtn 09-08-2011 03:03 PM

Ok...since other people had viewed it I went around the virus warning and looked. I'd say NOPE for a baby quilt, but YES for a college kid, or high school kid. Looks right out of the 1980's to me.

waladopa 09-08-2011 03:05 PM

The link is in some foreign language.....I think.

The photo was already posted. It's at the bottom of page 3.

Got only a page of Russian.

sewmagic 09-08-2011 04:01 PM

Link seems in Russian to me!!

Jennifer22206 09-08-2011 04:05 PM

now I really like that. I've saved the pattern for my "one of these days"

BarbEllen 09-08-2011 04:23 PM

I could just read the link in english- the rest of the page was foreign. Hope you can get it.

charlie 1940 09-08-2011 04:38 PM

I ended up with a Russian webpage. Unable to read.

joogoo 09-08-2011 05:40 PM

Makes me dizzy to look at it.

deb8746 09-08-2011 06:45 PM

Thanks!!

All I get from this link is something that appears to be in Russian.
Seriously - not kidding.

EmilieLaFave 09-08-2011 09:27 PM

Yes, it's in Russian, but one of those links lead to this
hideous quilt that looks like a pregnant giant ball. If you
didn't see it, you didn't miss anything.

Thank you Peckish. I was beginning to think that I went through the trouble without anyone noticing but continuing to complain about the Russian page. As this had already been explained more than a dozen times, I thought it's really not worth doing it all over again.

I love it think it will be my summer project

jetmaio 09-11-2011 05:19 AM

Although the pattern is very different I think it would still be very, very hard. Like the idea of calling it a Pregnant Log Cabin!

Dunster
If you make it from the 8 1/2 x 11 print from your home computer it will come out about 27".....really small. I took my printout to Kinkos where they can do a 36" wide print. That was about 300% of the original. The one I started today will be about 50" square.

And for a baby quilt....I think it would be hard for a baby's eyes to focus on it. I'll have to send a photo of it to my GD and ask her....she has a baby that's legally blind and I'm looking for things that might help him focus with the little sight he has. I'm not sure this would do it for him.

gmavis 09-12-2011 05:24 PM
