I like the sand paper dots. Purchased at the LQS.

sandpaper .. you can find adhesive sandpaper at any hardware store and cut them into any size you want.. would not reccommend length of ruler.. tiny squares will do..
or omnigrid Invisigrip.. more expensive but I like it alot.. this can be found at Joannes, hobby lobby, online at hancocks, joannes, pretty much anywhere they sell notions.. |
I've used the plastic grip dots and had my ruler move when I put my hand in the wrong place. I've used the sandpaper...and most recently used the Invisigrip..I have to say I was impressed. But it can be a bit pricey.

I used the little sandpaper dots and they work really great.

The Invisigrip has been a big help to me. I haven't tried anything else.

Invigrip works great for me
|
I like invisigrip... it lays flat and one roll covers a lot of rulers :D:D:D
|
I'm sold on the Nexcare tape. And it doubles as first aid tape, but I hope you'll never need it.

While we are on the subject...it seems that lately I prefer to use my 12.5
inch square ruler instead of the 6x12. It is heavier and doesn't move as much. You might want to give it a try...specially for those long strips. |
