I would like to purchase some of those sticky things to put on my rulers to prevent slippage. I have come across, plain clear fabric graber plastic dots, sandpaper dots and rubberized slipnots
Out of the 3 which do you think is better and where do I look to buy them.
Thank you

I love the sandpaper dots. They work great!

I use puffy paint mostly :)

I have the clear rubber one's and I don't think they help much. I'm thinking of going to the sandpaper kind

the sandpaper dots are the best!!!! those clear thick dots are just that.....thick......they make my rulers ''wobble''. buy at Joanns when they have a 50 per cent off sale. about $3., so you can use plenty on each ruler. the downside of the sandpaper dots.....you can't slide your ruler off your fabirc you have to lift it by the edge or get a suction cup handle

I apply the clear Cling Glad wrap on all of my rulers. On the small templates and rulers I use static cling you can get at any sign shop. You can see clearly and it doesn't raise the ruler off the fabric in places.

I had that problem with the wobble thats why I was going to go with the sandpaper ones

or find some Invisigrip. clear cling wrap sort of stuff on a roll. just cut to fit your ruler and place on the back.

I have had the most success with Invisi-grip. It is the clear vinyl film. I also had success with auto window tinting you can buy at Walmart or an auto parts store. It is basically the same thing, but cheaper.

I have heard others say to use Press 'n' Seal wrap. I think I will try that next time.

All of the dots eventually fell off of my rulers.

Try Invisigrip or Nexcare clear tape.
