Mine EXPLODED last year! I do have it all in one walk in closet, but it is too much. I am really trying to not buy much this year. My stash is full of lovely fabrics, so no excuse!!😁

Mine grew because a quilt store retired, and I purchased LOTS of fabric at $3 and $5 a yard. On the positive side, I have made 6 quilts since late October, and used the purchase in all of them. Still have some yardage to go, but several quit patterns in mind. Sharon and Gaga aren't helping me in reducing fabric at all...haha. They seem to know all the sales in the area!

My stash has grown considerably since 2011 but my stash is actually quilt kits I put together. If I saw fabric for a quilt I wanted to make, I bought all the fabric to make it because once it gone, it's gone. I worked so much, family, etc., I didn't have much time for quilting. Even most of my fat quarters are earmarked for quilts. It's organized - backings & longer cuts are on foam boards cut the size of bolts and are on shelves in quilt groups. Other "kits" with patterns are in baskets on shelves along with a few kits I bought. Fat quarters are in the shoe storage cubbies. A few things are just laying on shelves. I am working it down some now since I retired. I should add I organized my stash when I moved in to our new house three years ago. DH finally got my sewing area finished just a year ago. Still need the sink in the bar area hooked up and the light by the shower in the bathroom installed. That's what happens when your DH is your contractor!

My stash has also exploded since 2011. It is also in such a mess that if I think of a particular piece for something, I usually cannot find it. I have 2 climate controlled storage units full of fabric and other sewing things -- also in a huge mess! On a more positive note, I am a member of the Fabric moratorium and has done much better than in previous years!

Last time I bought fabric was before Thanksgiving. Maybe before Halloween.

Definitely grown. I have 2 double closets with shelves full of plastic totes, with fabric organized by color and themes. Since I don't normally make scrappy quilts, it seems that I always "need" something. I try not to get attached to new fabric lines, but I don't have a lot of will power. My husband is only going to work maybe another year and then things wil be different. I'll be forced to go more scrappy to use what I have. It will be fine - a new adventure.

Mine has certainly grown. It got a large addition when I ran into a set of three tubs full of fat quarters for $10.00 per tub. I knew I could never afford that much fabric if I had to buy it at regular prices, so it came home with me. My unspoken rule is...If you see it and you have never seen it before and probably won't run onto it again and there is any money left in your purse,.....buy it.....so I did. I make my own rules up.

my stash has grown modestly... I started quilting from scratch 5 years ago and I have been pretty disciplined with sticking to my original plan of only buying with a project in mind. Like Gramajo and GEMRM posted, my scraps have grown from having leftover pieces from borders, backing and unused cuts... which I have now organized into 3 totes labeled crumbs, strips and larger scrap pieces.

I am often envious of members who have larger stashes to shop from... but until I get my sewing room built over our garage I'll have to stick to my plan.

My stash has grown. I had to move the flannel out of the cabinet & up into the sewing room's closet, to make room for more 100% cotton! It's also more organized. I've just come to the realization that I need another cabinet. I should check and see if pier 1 imports still carries the same one...
