Just changed mine a few days ago....had some nicks in it. Such a pain when you have to cut twice!

I'm appalled at how expensive the Olfa blades are and yet how short a time they stay sharp. I'm awaiting my order of $1.99 blades from Harbor Freight, and am eager to see how well they compare.

I always put a tiny drop of oil when I change blades,,it really helps. I was told to do this by several quilt teachers. I likee the pressure sensitive Dritz cutter. I depose my Olfa cutter on my foot and had a really bad cut. So now the pressure one stops cutting when it isn't pressed against something. Much safer as I would lay the Olfa aside without closing it and cut myself several times.
