When I look at the board with Google Chrome, I still cannot see the pictures.

When I try the "static" in place of "www" experiment, I get a message that denies me access to a "phishing site".

I think I've tried all the suggestions that have been posted, but have had no success in bringing up pictures.

Something has changed on the QB and nothing I do at this end makes any difference.

I have done all of this too and still no pictures. :(

I tried to figure out how do change from "static" to www...but I can't figure out where to change it. I can click on Page source and find where it says that, but not where I would change it.

Patrice, I had our systems admin look into it. This is what he wrote back to me. Hope this helps.

Found out what's going on. The part of their site that hosts the pictures "static.quiltingboard.com" was reported as a phishing site so opendns isn't loading anything at all from it which is what our ISP provider uses as a filter. I'm seeing what can be done to report it as a false positive.

Since i am computer illiterate, i'll ask a question and possibly look stupid. won't be the first time!!

How many of us who cannot see pictures have computers that use the same interrior graphics? my computer has "graphics by ATI Microsoft Xpress.

Could something else have updated and this didn't to read the newer stuff and can't now?

It seems to me to be a way of 'reading' the files to get the pictures.

There is no "Clear Private Data" in Firefox.

I clear History every several days.

i haven't been able to see pic only here since sat. i use safari tried your suggestions it did not work

Is the QB admin working on this, or are we supposed to solve the problem at this end? Some sort of update would be helpful.

I am not having any luck either. This is just driving me nuts, I can get the pictures on my husbands "APPLE" ok, but not on my GATEWAY. Thought we were on the same systems?????? Up until Sunday, I had no problems getting the pictures on mine. Now all I get is this little box with a red X. HELP!!!!!

You need to change the static.quiltboard.com to www.quiltboard.com. If you right click on the broken image icon (where the pic won't show) and try to open it in a new page/ tab, then it will show the web address in the address bar ..here is an example of opening a pic in another page. The address bar shows this http://static.quiltingboard.com/uplo...2-img_0862.jpg

So, I will just delete the "static" and replace with www...it works, but who wants to go through all of that just to see a pic?? Not Moi...so I quit getting on the board. I have just been checking this thread for updates.
