Of course I was looking for it so maybe it won't be to noticeable. Maybe a very thin hand needle can may it go in the fabric. sue

I think you did great! I can't see it. After it is washed it won't be seen at all.

Knit Picker - now THERE'S the name I should have picked for myself on this board! lol!

It seems to me that if the quilt maker didn't balk at putting that flawed section of fabric in the quilt, then you shouldn't have to worry so much about "quilting it out".

I would dampen in and sandwich it with the other two layers, and lay something heavy on it over night. That should do the trick, next best idea is soak it and press like crazy

If you just applique a couple of matching bugs somewhere on the quilt I think all will be forgiven. (Hidden)

Pull the snag through. If it is not impacting the integrity of the top fabric,IE a hole, then quilt right over it and say nothing. At ninety miles per hour on the highway NO ONE will notice.
