I like #1 best also. If it's cute fabric which I sure it is, this will show it off more.

I like the second one best but they are both nice.

I personally think that on the second one you should switch the bottom corner on your right with the brown in the row before the bottom Try it and see if it works for you But they both look great Just giving you something else to work with lol

Both are nice, but I like #1, because it highlights the blocks more. #2 is a little too busy all I see is the sashing.

I was immediately drawn to the first one. It has a more modern, younger vibe to it. Have fun!

I like #1 best, but it looks like you are getting a lot of votes for both, so you will probably have to decide yourself.

Hard choice I really like both of them for different reasons. I think I prefer the design of 1 cuz I just like that look, reminds me of Asian for some reason and I love all things Asian, I can picture the large print in the big blocks.

the 2nd one I like very much cuz of all the scrappy possibilities and looks fun to make.

Why not make both, decide which one you want to keep for a future gift or yourself and which one to gift.

I actually like #1 WITH the white sashing. I find #2 very busy. But I'm sure anyone you choose will be awesome.

I like # 2. Has many interesting shapes and colors for a child to explore.

I like the design of #1, but the colorful, scrappy look of #2. Maybe use the design of #1, but put the colorful corner blocks and maybe color in the 4 small blocks adjacent to the large center blocks. This would give it a little more color and variety that is often in baby quilts, but not be as busy as #2. Good luck and congratulations!

I like number 2 because of the patchwork sashing. Not a fan of white, either but really like number 2.

I vote for #1 - love the larger block & how you accented the block with the unique sashing - how cute

I like both, but the second one really grabbed my eye.

Number one is my choice... a little simpler and more "babyish" than number two. Number two is more "grown up" because of all the structure. One is just a little more "free and easy" which is more for a small baby. (Nice designs, both of them)
