I think the darker color frames it well...so red would be a nice first border. I also love multiple borders. Will you post the other fabric that you'll be using for the binding? It is a stripe? What colors are in the stripe?

You could do the red (burgundy) with the green and white cornerstone. Then bind it in red. Just a suggestion.
