I think I would use invisible or white thread.
RED!!!!
I think white or invisable thread in the large white squares. I think using a color might detract from how very elegant the quilt is. And the rest of it, which ever your muse says to use! Just my opinion. It is a beautiful quilt.
Another beautiful item! Wow!
Red! And it's beautiful!
What is the color of your backing ? I would use red if it will show up on the back.
What a beautiful quilt. I found a remnant of the red flower/black fabric, just enough to make a vest, I quilted it in red.
I was interested, too, so I really browsed the Internet. The only one I could find exactly like Riversong's was at this site:
http://www.eleanorburns.com/shoponli...s_display.asp? It's in a book for $20.96. I won't be ordering it. The one called "Autumn Tints" is not like hers. |
I would be concerned red or black would take away from the contrast of the fabrics you have going on. Lovely quilt!
I'd use white or an invisible thread.
I think a multi-thread that includes black and red would be awesome! I don't know if such a thing is available, so I would go with red.
Sure is a pretty quilt.
Beautiful quilt, I would go with white.
Beautiful work, as always!
I think I would use red also...unless you're into color changes (not!). Please show us when you finish it. |

i usuallly use the clear when i have to go over several colors and then the colored bobbin thread to match the backing.
Invisible thread so it doesn't distract the beauty of the quilt!
Red is my vote.
I would use red

I think soft white would be a choice. The pattern is beautiful and it looks like a good size. Please PM me with the name of the pattern and its size. I've been looking for a pattern to make a wall hanging over our bed. Thanks so much for your consideration. Oh, by the way, my hand quilting teacher told us of a person in one of her classes who was going to quilt her quilt in soft pink. "Oh, no!" Barbara thought. Well, the finished product was just beautiful!!!! Whaaddaya think about soft pink  Angela |

Red Definitely! I like the guilt, that is so pretty. I enjoy seeing red, black and white quilts.

The ....Red
Not sure but if you send me a piece of that lemon m. pie, I might tell you. HAHA
Pretty quilt |
bLACK/white verigated as the 'reds' as aslways so hard to match up. BUT if youcould fine one to match I would do as someone suggested and make a pretty pattern in the 'white squares' but do them in the red.
HTH I see you have LOTS of opinions. LOL :) |
