We use ours every single day for warming up food (be it soup, veggies, taco sauce, etc.) Be sure & use 100% cotton fabric, batting, & thread.

I have been using them for several years and no problems either. I have giving many away and no issues. I do make sure everything is a 100% cotton. Awesome gifts I think.

Uncle Gravy has a great idea every guy can love! At least from what I seen.

I think an apron is a great idea...

How about appliqué some EPP onto dish towels, or cut outs from manly fabric? When my sister married a dairy farmer, my mom appliquéd cows and tractors to some flour sack dish towels so he could help dry dishes... (never happened, to my knowledge, but it's a cute idea.)

I like this phone pillow idea but did not see any directions. Any one out in our group have directions for this nifty little gift? Christmas is only 8 months away! Tee-Hee-Hee. The blogger promised a tutorial but I only found a pattern to by from another source.

Shoe bags for his gym bag.

Why not a fabric box as a catch all. Everyone usually finds a use for them. BTW, any time I've heard the microwave bowls cause fire, many sewer don't realize they've used poly wrapped cotton thread.

Apparently he has his own apt. or house, since you've made him potholders etc. how about some kitchen towels that button and hang over the stove handle or a bag to hold his plastic bags if he lives where they still allow plastic bags. Place mats or tablet or phone cover, throw pillows, wall hanging. I plan to make a scrappy denim bath mat for DD for Christmas to use up some of my large denim stash. Iif he cooks a lot and takes dishes to others a casserole carrier
