Try this. From your description I suspect it's the one Borntohandquilt made
or Feline Fanatic.

I also saw a disappearing nine patch in all lights (whites/beiges) that came out beautiful and with a look similar to Creme Brulee. Normally that is not my favorite pattern but it was beautiful in those colors.

It was light colored...beiges and whites and a very simple pattern. I wanted to see it again for inspiration....I want to start buying fabric for it....does anyone remember seeing one on here?? I think I will try and get it done for next Christmas and surprise her....any help would be appreciated...thank you!!!

Your daughter needs to explain what exactly she wants. I suspect she means a "cheater cloth" quilt that is printed to show quilt blocks.

A whole cloth top is just that-------------one whole cloth.

Pieced is just that----------pieces to make a top.

Can't have both in one piece.

Not to be really stupid, but how else would you treat a finished top than as one whole?

I always thought a whole cloth was one solid piece of fabric like the hand quilted white on white quilt that I did. Will have to watch this for the pieced ones...It is new to me.

Maybe she is refering to monocramatic? (is that how you spell that? lol ) shades of one color.

check out fossil fern there is enough irregular pattern to satisfy a change in colour etc--some batiks may also work
