Blue sashing. You'll love it when it's finished. No ugly quilt there!
|
I like the white for sashing and narrow 1st border. Then use the blue for the main border. It will be a pretty quilt when finished. Go ahead and audition the blue as the main border. Bet you'll like it!

I think that they are beautiful.
What if you make your four patch into a bigger four patch quilt one square made of two half triangles, then next to it one of your four patch you already have made. Then under those two square reverse it. one four patch, then one square with two half triangles with no sashing |
What is ugly about it? I don't see anything that would fit in the ugly category! I think I like the blue.

It is not ugly at all. It is very soft and summery. Is that white in he blocks or cream? If it is cream, you might try that. It wouldn't be quite as stark as the white.
|
It is definitely NOT ugly. What a good job on getting this far. I personally like the white. Remeber, you can add borders to this quilt too. Perhaps a dark blue one, then a yellow one?
Good luck. I would like to see this quilt when you have it all together. |
2 VOTES FOR........ white!!! That will be a stunning quilt. So simple and lovely!!! You should be reassured by all the wonderful compliments you have had !!! Great job!

I also like your quilt so far. I like the white sashing the best. I think it would look nice to arrange similar values diagonaly. For instance it looks like you have enough of the darkest blue patches to go from the lower left corner to the upper right corner. then match values in diagonal rows from there. I like it alot...giving me ideas......

I think I like the white the best but either would work. Good luck.

I like the white, and there is nothing ugly about it. God bless.
