I would use the dark blue for sashing, then after you have all the blocks put together, I would use yellow for one border and blue for another border, just narrow borders.

I would go with a dark blue...I think that will make it sing! There are no ugly quilts...they are all individual and beautiful in their own way. Yours is old fashioned and homespun looking and I liked it. It will look better to you with the sashing.

I don't think it's ugly at all!! I love the colors and either the blue or white would be cute. Hang in there, don't get discouraged.

After u have probably sewn everything together, I think a darker blue than the mediums and lighter than the darkest blues would work well.
The other color that might work would be a bright yellow. Either way, I love blue and yellow quilts!!!!! |
Ugly really??? I don't think so. I love the quilt. I think it has great colors. I like the white is best. The blue is nice too.. I think once you have it all put together and quilted you will love it. Be proud of it cause it is really good!

Not white!! I would actually go a darker blue. Dark tends to make things look more regal.

certainly not an ugly quilt. It's coming along quite nicely. I think the blue sashing pops it out more. Or you might try a yellow or a little darker blue. Choice is yours. I love the blue/yello combo
