I was just given a new project and I'm not quite sure how to tackle it. My principal has asked me to sew a box full of hexigon pieces together, but I only machine quilt and I'm new to this as well. Anyone have any tips?

I guess I should have intoduced myself first... Hello from Florida.
I'm a beginner at this (only piecing for 2 years). |
hexagons are easier to stitch by hand, but not horrible to do my machine. here's a tutorial showing one way to do them on the machine.

Great looking avatar.

and thanks for the compliment! This is only one of a very few quilts I kept for myself. Red is my favorite color and I also used some Mickey Mouse fabric (big Disney fan). Lately I've been making some purses.

Welcome from Indiana! I sewed mine by hand and enjoy doing that as I watch TV. But the above instructions are very good for doing them on the machine.
Love your purse :-D  Hope you share a picture with us when you are done with your hexagons. Will share a picture of my work in progress |
Hi Shopbelt and welcome from Lakeland! Love your purse and avatar pic (quilt).
