What would you do? I have solid yellow, or the same blue used for the border.

For the back I scraped all the leftovers together :)

I like the idea of yellow since it is the colour in the smallest amount in the quilt. Have you thought about a flange binding using a narrow strip of yellow and then blue. Here is a link to a tutorial;

There is another method for flange binding using both colours and sewing them together first (one is slightly wider than the other) and then sewing on the binding. I know there is a tute for that too but I don't have the link.

I like the idea of the same blue or the stripe for the binding.

On children's quilts I usually go for a darker binding so it doesn't show the dirt. :)

that's what I did to the last one I made!! http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...d-t224808.html
might have to do that again. I have a big piece of the blue left, but cut length wise, so no stretch :(
thats what I am pondering now.
thanks for the link on the tute! I might try to do it this way. the last one I made by sewing 2 colors together first.

This flange binding idea is great. I will have to try it on my I Spy quilt when the time comes. Thanks for the link.MammaBear61
