"Honey, could you please go to the basement and get the pliers so I can...
pull this needle out of my finger?"
Yes, I joined the club. Lesson: do not try to smooth out the water soluble topping while the machine is stitching. Happily, it was a 75/11 and not some monster needle. :) |
Ouch, I feel your pain. I stitched the end of my thumb yesterday. I had my fingers too close while trying to make sure the binding was where I wanted! Hope your finger is okay.
|
Oooh, sorry! Hope he was gentle!
|
OOHHH!! That hurts!! We have a whooping cough epidemic here and hubby needed to get a shot. When he asked why my shots were up to date I told him it was because of all the sharp things in my sewing room that were always inserting themselves into my skin (I also keep pliers and a first aide kit since I could bleed to death before he hears me call him).
Hope you heal fast. |
Mercy, watch out for those pesky needles......and rotary cutters, and ..........
I don't seem to be able to make a quilt without getting blood on it one time or another:( |
Rotary cutters are something else we use carefully.
|
I am so sorry!!!!!!
|
Thanks everybody. I'm not even sure it hurt, it happened so fast. I had to do the extraction myself.
Fortunately, no blood on the white fabric! Raggie, ouch!! I hope your thumb heals quickly. |
oh so sorry hope you don't get infection Brave Quilter!!!
|
Hope you don't do it again...Ouch! I hate to admit this, but...I have done this too many times...I keep pliers in my cup with the other scissors. I also keep several band-aids with the first covering already off with a rubberband to the cup..
