How could he???

DSIL grabbed my 7" Karen Kay Buckley scissors (the purple handled ones) and cut the plastic ties on some decking material -- they were with some fabric scraps I was working with. He knows where I keep utility scissors -- they were about 3 steps away in a drawer. I tried them on fabric and they don't quite cut right -- sigh. I really love those scissors - guess I will put them on my Christmas list again.... (At least they are still made DH used a favorite pair of embroidery scissors to cut wire and I never could replace them.)

My question - is he still alive?

Time to buy locks and close around the end of the scissors.

AHHHHHH! Makes me want to key his car! Okay, I know it's not the end of the world but you have my sympathy.

They can't be resharpened? If so, make him pay for the service.

He doesn't need to be strung up, his car keyed or run out of town........lol

Explain again that "your" scissors are off limits. And let it go.

Yes, make him buy you a new pair right now, not at Christmas. He should know the cost of ruining your favorite scissors.
