How do you get blood out of fabric?
It is on white fabric, but needless to say the whole quilt isn't white so bleach is out of the question.

Put some peroxide on the spot. Let it soak a while. Rub it, repeat til it's gone. I have done this on my husband's clothes. Sometimes at dialysis they will have a little accident, and blood with get everywhere. Hope this helps.

If it is a small spot of my blood, I chew a little wad of white thread and use the thread wad to dab the spot. The enzymes in your own saliva will dissolve your own blood spot. Sounds gross but it works.

Try peroxide, or color safe bleach on the stain. Treat the stain only, then wash.

This only works if it is your blood. If it is someone elses, you need their saliva. |
tartan and carmen had great solutions. my son was an emt and every so often got blood on his shirts. we used peroxide. i've also heard about the saliva. good luck!

Wash in cold water. I believe that cold water works for all 'biological' stains.

I was pin basting. i can't wash it because its not together yet. The saliva thing is hard to believe, but i may try that.
