I have a Janome gem for work shops, a Janome 1000, a janome 9000 that was my late mother's and my Janome 1100SE. I love them all and have never had any other make of machine.

I used to love my Janomes..I still own 2..the 10001 and the 3000 which everyone uses when they come to sew at my house...I now own 3 Berninas and I love them even more as far as quality but I will be honest...some of that has to do with customer service in our area....the Janome Dealer..well I won't say anymore...I switched....but don't have room the keep the big Janome set up with all my other ones...so I am going to try to sell it....I have one for sale if anyone is interested...a 10001....anyone interested?hehehehe...blessings

Hi, I have 2 Janomes and really like both. We have a dealer here in Maine that does a super job of promotion and sales! I have a small one that weighs 12 lbs to take to wkshops but is still computer based and I also have the new Horizon 7700 which I LOVE. I did have a Janome 6600 and I traded it in but it was a really nice machine. I used to have an older Brother and a Necchi. Neither came close to my Janomes. Dianne in Maine

What kind of settings are you needing? D.

I used to have the MB4 and hated it. It was loud and heavy and I could never figure out how to get things centered properly. I sold it and haven't looked back...
Having said that... IF my dealer had any kind of support at all - even a new owner class, it would have been helpful but they had nothing, nada, zilch... I love my Janome sewing machine. My first embroidery machine was the 350e which I adored and only sold to get the MB4 because I wanted the bigger sewing area (oh and the MB4 is a bugger to thread unless they have changed it since I purchased mine) I now own a Brother 4500d and love it. The woman I sold the MB4 to loved it though. She was starting a home embroidery business and she seemed quite happy with it... So I guess for some they probably love it. I hated that machine though. Literally - I have an industrial wheely cart that my embroidery machine sits on. I used to have to wheel it out of the craft room and down the hall to use it. It was soooo loud!! |
I have a 2010 and a 350E. Love both.
