I love mine, wouldn't buy another machine, a friend gave me a viking after her mother passed, its okay but I use my Janome ,its user friendly, the different feet you can buy aren't overly expensive like the 1/4 foot is only about 15.00,

I own a MC3000 bought in 1997. Went through being covered in rain, hail & broken glass to come out working just fine. Photo is of the mess I found!
I wanted a machine that had more decorative stitches & a larger harp, so bought my 6600P in November of 2006. It had been love at first sight, but I wanted DH to tell me to buy it. Would love to have the 350E or 300E if I could afford it, but right now, I'm saving for a HQ Avante 18. I am sold on Janome! Memory Craft 3000 |

I love my Janome 11000 ,it is my favorite machine of all I have.I own a Singer, Kenmore,PAFF embroidery.

I have a Janome 3500 (7years old) and a Janome 6600P since Dec. and love both of them. Don't know about a 4 needle. Is that an embroidery one or what?

I have not tried the 4 needle commercial machine. After wearing out a Bernina in 3 years (I quilt a LOT), I went with Janome. I have had this one for 7 years with only regular maintenance. I was told by someone who should know that some Viking models are even made by Janome. My DH and I were really impressed with the ease of maintenance and solid construction of the machine I've got.
I may eventually get my 30 year old Viking back from my son, but these are the only 2 brands I would consider buying. |
I have a basic Janome serger, an 11000 upgraded to SE, and a Jem Platinum for classes. I love them all!
