So, I've got 6 quilts going right now, and even more in the planning stages. It's not yet too difficult to keep them separated, but I think I need to get them all finished right now! lol

Too many to count! I just cut out 3 more today. I finished 2 baby quilts and a quilt top the other day. I've got a couple that need to be quilted, another that needs borders added, plus some that I've already kitted up and a few that I pulled fabric aside, but have yet to do anything with. Another that I cut wrong and had to rip out and reconfigure. I finally got it ripped out yesterday.

Most of the time I have to dismantle my quilting area when I am thru, so I keep piecing when I can (I have a very tiny area to work in my bedroom) and quilt when I can set up without having to take down in a few hours. Assembly line works best for me, even if it means working on multiple projects.

I have no clue how many!!
I always look at it as "Variety is the Spice of Life" and a variety of projects is good medicine for me.

Man you made me count and that is depressing because I didn't think I had so many WIP's. 7 tops to be quilted, 2 in the process of being quilted, one sandwiched and spray basted, One with blocks done, One partially pieced top, one hand piecing, and one that I just started cutting the pieces. Good news is that I've almost got one ready to be bound, just a little more echo quilting tomarrow and I'll be done. This one has been in process for over a year. Oh no I got one more that's under the table that's sandwiched and partially quilted. I've been trying to use up my stash and I get ideas quicker than I can put them together.

I have two tops ready to go to the LA but am waiting to finish the third so it's only one trip. So that's three.

I have one I am stumped on and three I got bored with. I have one that only needs one square. That's eight.

Then I have the three quilts that are cut but I only work on at retreats. I dont think they really should count because I purposely dont work on them. They are easy and portable so it makes my retreats easier.

Then I have another ten I havent started but have all the stuff for.

In my defense, I have finished probably fourteen or fifteen in the last year if you count wallhangings.

One on the longarm, two still piecing, a customer quilt waiting for thread to arrive, two more quilts headed my way to longarm. and 4 in the design stage and one lonely one in a plastic container in the cutting stage as I've lost interest in it for now. Poor quilt/wall hanging.

Every Jan 1st I stop, organize a bit to prioritize, and count WIPS, PIGS and UFOs...last Jan I stopped COUNTING at 30...Guess I just cannot count any higher than that!

Eight in progress, meaning I currently alternate working on them. Another eight or ten I'd classify as UFOs since I'm not currently working on them. Many more still in the planning stages.

I tend to work on 3 at any one time these days, not counting the take-a-long project (which is not always quilting). I am determined to always make at least one UFO part of the 3. I have so darn many of those puppies.

I'm way behind most of you.....only have 4 of them. Problem is I'd rather start on a new one that caught my attention than finish one of the four in progress. So it will probably bump up to 5 real soon.

I have 8 tops ready to be sandwiched. One partially quilted and on WIP. :)

"Just" 6.....and my plan is to have them finished before the year ends (keeping fingers and toes crossed). :mrgreen:

oh say 9 or 10......or more.... I don't like this game anymore lol making me think and count at 1 am! Wait does this include tops ready to be quilted... sigh.... well that makes 14 at least....... I'm goin to bed! :)

Peace settles over me as I realize I'm in good company! I started the summer in a dither to get those WIPS and UFS DONE. I'm not counting the ones that are put together like kits in big baggies - just those I've started.

I sew in the dining room where there are 6 chairs. My rule of thumb is no more WIPS than can fit on those chairs. Well, somehow the chairs were filled and ... a wooden crate thing was also full. I've gotten this down to 4 pieced tops that need sandwiching and 2 small advent calendar wall hanging thingys. But according to ya'll I can cut some more - bag some more - bring in more chairs! Ahhhhh! :)

I have one "in progress" and hundreds in my head! Alas, I also have my machine at the dealers :(

I have three in progress. One I'm currently quilting. One that is tied but needs the binding added. And one that still needs to be pieced. lol

I have two that need backing, and working on my mothers, in between making blocks for trading...And when I recieve all of those back I will have 6 quilts to put together....And can't wait to see what blocks I will be getting....

More than I want to think about..lol..4 on the design walls..1 in my quilt group bag for Weds. group..1 downstairs for in front of TV (binding) 2 hanging in closet for quilting..and 1 on graph paper that I want to start..now these are all in progress..do you want to know about my cedar chest full of tops to quilt..sad..huh ??

Only 1...and very detailed plans for at least 3 in my mind.

4 and a huge basket full of mending. But I am NOT going to start any more 'til I bring those numbers down and empty the wretched basket.

Just stitched the last corner on binding of one, of (3) for a customer, clipping of threads and a label & into the washer they go..Also cutting stage of one and three more in the designing and auditioning fabric stage. So the short answer is 7. :-D

OMG. I thought my 3 was alot! 1 basting, 1 top finished, one pieced but still working on applique and needs border. Don't know what border will be yet.

Just 1 full size,plus 4-5 small ones needing binding. My last K size is ready to go to the LA quilter.

Right now...None. I just finished my last two quilts and now teaching my daughter inlaw how to quilt. I am going to Joanns today though to get some steam a seam...want to try doing a few more applique quilts. I did one last weekend and it was so much fun...think I may get hooked on those. Oops...I take that back...I have one stuffed in my closet with one block let to make. I was so frustrated with it I put it away...someday I will finish it.
