It comes and goes. Sometimes a lot and sometimes a dry spell. But it's always on my mind.

As much as I can.

there are days when I can't get in my sewing room at all and I still work full time too. With the economy the way it is, I probably won't get to retire ever!! I am off every other Friday, and spend every minute I can sewing on that day. On the weekends, I like to get up hours before everyone else and can usually get in at least 3 heavnely uninterrupted hours. Sometimes I have a hard time getting to sleep at night because I can't turn off my mind from thinking about sewing stuff!!

I usually sew 4 or 5 hours unless I have to go somewhere. If I really get into it I do 9 to 10 hours with a few breaks. That's when I'm really trying to get something finished. :-P

Are you joking...I wake up planning what will I work on today. I become easily board and work on something and then go to something else. I do finish projects but they take some time.

You just described me. I did cut out a dress today. And finished squaring up the rail fence blocks from HappyNana. I'm going to sash them with a pretty blue print I bought yesterday. Washed the 10 fat quarters I bought yesterday. Washed two big pieces of decorator fabric I inherited Sunday. NO SEWING Oh, and rewashed the heavy flannel mattress pad I'm going to line the baby quilt with.

I tried to determine the layout for some very pretty bird prints I just got--------but tried to do it as I was drifting off to sleep. Worked better this morning after I woke up.+

6 to 7 hours a day

I have an "allowance" of 1 hour a day. Many times it seems to wait until the weekend and I quilt for hours at a time. My best friend comes over, we set everything up on the deck and enjoy being outside all day.
