I enjoy paper piecing now, but I was hesitant to try it at first. It sounded complicated!

But I found a simple pattern, and after some practice (a queen-size quilt made of Interwoven Diamonds! LOL!), it's fairly easy to do now. I love the accuracy! :)

Me too, me too!! Love paper piecing.

For those that are up to a challenge and some fun, go to www.paperpanache.com and check out her patterns. She usually will post a free surprise block and you don't know what the finished block will look like until you finish it. I did the small Nativity pattern (gave it away and did not take a picture ugh!)and it turned out great.

I am so excited to read about so many that enjoy pping! I taught an entire class of young ladies how to paper piece. They each finished a wall hanging sized quilt in just 8 two-hour classes! I'm now teaching an adult how to do it. She has finished two log cabin squares already.

Carol Doak - the queen of paper piecing has a wonderful Yahoo Group with tons of info and challenges.

I love to PP. I am in the process of making an off-center pineapple block quilt. It has a lot of tiny pieces but is going to be beautiful down in Batiks.

I have been paper piecing as long as I've been quilting. If I can do it, anyone can!

I like some paper piecing. I really like the technique in the book Miniatures in Minutes by Terrie Sandelin. I've taken a few of her classes. For those of you who do larger quilts, you could put multiples of her miniatures together.
