I love paper piecing. I just can't get that kind of points on some blocks using another method. I'm interested in how to convert blocks into a pp pattern. I don't have a computer program to do this and at this time, I don't want to spend the money on it. Any ideas where I can learn this. Thanks!!

I love paper piecing. I just love the way the needle sounds when it goes through the paper, there is nothing like it in the world :) I also really like pulling the paper off when it is all done. I especially love having a perfect line to follow.

Try Carol Doaks's "Converting Traditional Patterns to Paper-Pieced Patterns" (its half-way down the page on this link).

Hi Kelly! I really like paper piecing, too! And I've been to the Lancaster area many times. I have relatives that live in Lititz. I live about an hour from Lancaster.

I love to paper piece, but I hate tearing off the paper...

That's what significant others, your children, neighbor's children, etc. are for. I remember the first time my MIL handed me a stack of blocks and told me to start ripping. You never say no to your MIL. I happen to have a new DIL annd SIL to break in. :XD:
