I like to quilt my own. I did send one out to be quilted and Charismah did a beautiful job. I have a Mega Quilter with a HQ frame. I have only done meandering/stippling on them but I'm practicing other stuff now. I hope to get a larger throat machine soon which I think will be easier to do larger patterns. Cutting isn't my favorite part but it has to be done to get to the fun parts.

I used to do mine---even queen ones----on my Janome 6600. I then bought my HQ16 used and doubled my productivity and do lots for our guild.

I have quilted my own. Lack of space keeps me from doing any large ones now. I will still do wall hangings and small quilts. Of course, the only size I have made lately has been queen size.

I have quilted all of mine so far I love to FMQ but I have a top I may send out it is a large medalliom I made about 6 years ago!I do a lot of SID on smaller pieces.

I quilt my own too! After I spend that much time and money on putting a quilt together, I want to be the one to finish it. I am not a professional, but I do have a short-arm and frame where I do FMQ with limited space, since my throat is only 9". I have had it since March and can really see my progress. I love learning a new skill!
I enjoy every step of the quilting process and try to have something going in all stages so that I can work on whatever I am in the mood to do at that time. |
I quilt my own. Was fortunate enough to get an older Gammill and I love quilting.

I do my own. I enjoy that part and also, can't afford to send them to a long-armer here

I quilt all of mine by hand. Takes a lot longer than machine quilting but it is very relaxing.

Only two so far that I didn't finish. One was for a raffle and I needed help past the SID which a QB member graciously gave. The other was a 30s left-over quilt that needed an overall quilt design and I knew I would not do it justice. SO I had it long-armed. Everything else I do.

If I had to quilt all my own ... I would never make a quilt bigger than a lap size.
I will stand tall and say I am a Proud Piecer!! In this case PP does not stand for Paper piecing . |
