I just finished two baby quilts and now starting a new one (Mommy & Me) for my expecting DDIL. I have a finished top on my design wall that needs sandwiching and I have a Gypsy wife that is in the last stages but I haven't been able to sew all summer but I hope to get it finished by Thanksgiving.

Off the top of my head, I have 2 quilts that I'm currently piecing. One is involved, and requires concentration, the other is very simple strip piecing that I can do while socializing at sew group.
4 tops finished, and waiting for me to piece backings. They are are large throw sized.
2 much larger quilt tops finished, ... 1 twin and one queen, that I need to decide if they need borders, or if they fit the intended bed.
1 tree skirt about half finished quilting, I quit when I realized I wanted to learn some ruler work, and now need to work up the courage to give it a go.
2 long term EPP quilts... both rather large, using 1.5" diamonds. They are about 3/4 pieced. I'm not worried about them, but should finish one so I can have the templates back to work on the other.

In addition, I have one throw quilt cut and 'kitted' in a gallon zipper bag in my sewing case. It's ready to go when I go to my next sewing day... if I ever run out of other projects!
I guess I'd better order another roll of batting!

Oh, I quit counting. Just keep making the tops and storing them away for "rainy day" projects:)

I am one of those that finishes one quilt before I start another; although, I have been working on some green embroidery work for a couple of years. I work on those blocks while I watch TV in the evenings. Am trying to come up with projects to "use up what I have on hand" as we will be moving into a townhome next March and I want to downsize some. It's interesting to read what others are working on.

I sat down this summer and finished every one of my UFO's. They were a constant nagging every time I walked into my sewing room. I currently have only one project going and really hope to keep it that way.

Too many...lol I have one that I am hand quilting, two that are waiting for the binding, one vintage quilt top that I am trying to save and one that I am doing needle turn appliqué. I also have the fabric washed and ready to cut for another one. Quilting is just like a "to be read" reading list...never ending!

Some of this is a matter of semantics, but I only consider myself to be working on one quilt at any given time. I'll push it aside to work on other (quicker) sewing projects, but not another quilt. If I started multiple quilts, I would have too much trouble keeping track of all the pieces and where I was in each one, and none of them would get done!

I'm just going to reply that I love- absolutely love having several projects going at one time. I also have crochet, knitting and jewelry making projects in various stages too. I am very blessed that I accomplish quite a bit.

I will usually finish a top before it gets set aside for quilting. I have one big one, that maze quilt which has been sitting for about 5 years, a scrappy 9 patch that I will finish as soon as I have a home for it - and that's about it. I do have a box full of flying geese that has been set aside until I feel like figuring out what I want to do with them. I am now in research mode trying to decide what I want to start next.
That maze quilt is all done in warm neutrals - beautiful, but just not "me" so it will sit until I have a reason to finish it - might make a nice auction quilt.
